We spend a lot of time and resources in study considering, when Christ is coming back. But, here is a thought worth considering: What if it's not about WHEN Christ comes back? What if it is really about the Holy Spirit opening our eyes and causing us to realize that Christ never left us. That He is still here with us and has been with us all the time??
Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 13:12
Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. (NLT)
By the Power of the Holy Spirit, we can see what the Prophet Elijah saw when he prayed for his apprentice. "Open his eyes Lord that he may see.." 2 Kings 6:17
My prayer for you today is:
"Open our eyes Lord. Let us see the Kingdom of Heaven. Let us see Jesus. Amen and Amen."
